Wied il-Mielah

Since one of Gozo’s most famous Instagram spots, the Azure Window (or Blue Window) dramatically crashed into the sea, Wied il-Mielah has risen up the ranks to take its place.
This tabletop flat natural arch is a spectacular sight to behold. Head here at sunset if you really want to up your photography game.
Citadella
Perched on top of Gozo’s capital, Victoria, the Citadella serves not just as a historic fortress, but as a vantage point offering panoramic views of the island. As the golden hour approaches, the warm hues bathe the ancient stone walls, creating a magical backdrop for your Instagram post.
Kercem Village

Kercem village is a great example of Gozo’s rustic charm. The village’s quaint streets and buildings with vibrant doors and windows make it a picturesque photo spot if you’re a content creator who likes a splash of colour and tradition in your images.
Dahlet Qorrot

One of my favourite Instagram spots on Gozo is at the quiet bay of Dahlet Qorrot. Here you’ll find not only deliciously blue water to swim in but also a feast of fishing huts and paraphernalia to photograph.
It’s a great place to capture the essence of Gozo’s fishing heritage and will suit you if you like traditional style photo opportunities.
Ta’ Pinu Basilica

The 20th century basilica of Ta’ Pinu may not be that old, compared to some of Malta’s churches, but its position standing alone amidst Gozo’s rolling hills makes it very Instagram-worthy. Enjoy photographing the mosaics glinting in the sun in front of the entrance to the church.
Blue Lagoon, Comino

A short boat trip from Gozo, the Blue Lagoon on Comino is an absolute slice of paradise. This is one of the most Instagrammable places if ever there was one and one of the top reasons to visit Malta and Gozo.
The turquoise waters shimmer and shine and invite you to dive right in. It gets super busy here so head over on the first ferry or stay overnight at the island campsite if you really want to get your Instagram shots without anyone else in. Alternatively, book a fun Blue Lagoon boat trip and take your time getting photos of this magical place.
Ta’ Kola Windmill

The Ta’ Kola windmill, at Xaghra, surrounded by cascading bougainvillea, offers a charming rural scene on Gozo, hinting at times gone by.
The vibrant flowers against the stone structure create a striking contrast that is sure to get likes and comments for your feed.
Wied il-Ghasri

Wied il-Ghasri is one of the most secluded photo spots on Gozo. This inlet in the northern part of the island has a narrow, winding entrance leading to the sea.
This hidden gem swimming spot is perfect for adventurers and photographers alike, offering dramatic cliffside shots that lead the eye through the image.
Ta’ Mixta Cave at Ramla Bay

Loved by influencers and overlooking the red sands of Ramla Bay, Ta’ Mixta Cave provides a unique view of Gozo’s largest beach. The cave’s natural window frames the bay, creating an Instagram-worthy shot that captures the island’s rugged coastline.
If you’ve only got a short time to see Gozo, why not book a Gozo tour, so you can make sure you see all the highlights.
San Blas Bay

The tranquil San Blas Bay is a haven for those seeking peace and natural beauty for their Instagram shots on the island of Gozo. The descent to this sandy cove is extremely steep so you might want to get the jeep ride back up for a few euros (providing it’s running).
Gozo Salt Pans – One of the Most Unique Gozo Instagram Spots

The Gozo Salt Pans at Il Qolla Bajada are a testament to Gozo’s salt harvesting tradition. The geometric patterns of the pans against the backdrop of the sea create striking images to share with your followers. The landscape along this part of the coast is full of lunar-like terrain and interesting formations.
Sanap Cliffs

Finally, the Sanap Cliffs offer a dramatic end to your trip around Gozo to get the best Instagram shots. The sheer drop and the striped colours of the cliffs provide powerful images that demonstrate the wild side of Gozo.
